Transcripts, summaries, and the notes you already took

AI meeting notes

Use this page when the job is a record of a call: a transcript, a summary, or notes you already wrote. A good fit is a listing that says so, not a calendar that only moves the meeting.

Otter, Fireflies, tl;dv, and Fathom describe joining or recording calls and turning them into notes. Granola enhances notes you took on a Mac. 通义听悟 is Alibaba’s meeting transcription product and is marked offered in mainland China. Feishu names meetings. DingTalk is a workplace assistant tagged meeting, not a transcript product.

NavBoth does not join your call. Consent, retention, and which video apps are supported stay on the vendor’s site.

How to choose

  • Choose Otter, Fireflies, or tl;dv when the listing should say transcription and a summary. tl;dv names Zoom, Meet, and Teams. The others do not name those apps in the summary.
  • Choose Fathom when you want the listing that calls the recorder free and mentions highlights plus a CRM sync. The price shape in the index is still freemium.
  • Choose Granola when the notes are yours and the app should improve them after the call, on a Mac. It does not say it joins the call.
  • Choose 通义听悟 when the transcript should come from a product marked offered in mainland China. Choose Feishu when meetings sit next to docs and workplace chat. Read DingTalk as collaboration, not as a transcript.

Shortlist

Eight listings. Five describe a transcript or a recording. Feishu names meetings. DingTalk is the workplace assistant with a meeting tag.

Questions

  • Which tools say they join the call?

Fireflies and Fathom say they join calls. Otter is transcription and summaries for calls. tl;dv is a recorder for Zoom, Meet, and Teams. Granola enhances notes you already took and does not say it joins. 通义听悟 is meeting transcription. The index does not list bot names.

  • What is offered in mainland China?

通义听悟, Feishu, and DingTalk are marked offered. Otter, Fireflies, tl;dv, Fathom, and Granola are not confirmed. A mainland China offer is not a promise that a foreign meeting bot can enter your company’s video app.

  • Does DingTalk transcribe meetings?

The summary does not say that. It describes workplace AI assistants for mainland enterprise collaboration, and the index tags the listing meeting. For a transcription product marked offered, open 通义听悟. Feishu’s summary does name meetings, next to docs and workplace chat.

  • Are these free?

All eight are freemium in the index. Fathom’s summary says a free recorder. Otter mentions free minutes. The index does not copy minute caps or say a free tier covers a team rollout.

  • Where do calendar tools go?

Clockwise and Reclaim are in the index as calendar assistants. They are not on this page because their summaries schedule time. They do not describe a transcript or a summary of what was said.

Limits

NavBoth is a directory of public products already in the index. These pages help you choose a listing. The product itself runs on the vendor’s site. Mainland China marks come from public offers reviewed with the seed; they are not a live connection test. No listing on these pages has a paid badge. Names belong to their owners.

Who may record, how long audio is kept, and which call apps are supported are on the vendor’s site. This page records the job each listing already describes.
