A document, a dub, or a grammar pass
AI translation tools
Use this page when words have to move into another language, or a video has to be heard in another language. A good fit is a listing that says translation, dubbing, or multilingual writing help.
DeepL is the only listing whose summary is translation of documents and text. HeyGen and ElevenLabs Dubbing cover translated or re-voiced video. ElevenLabs and Murf include dubbing in a broader voice product. PlayHT is multilingual narration. LanguageTool checks grammar across languages and does not translate.
The index does not have a separate localization-platform listing. None of these seven is marked offered in mainland China.
How to choose
- Choose DeepL when the source is text or a document and you want a translator, with a free translator and DeepL Pro in the listing.
- Choose HeyGen when the output is a talking-head, an avatar, or a translated dub. Choose ElevenLabs Dubbing when the job is translating and re-voicing a video.
- Choose the main ElevenLabs listing or Murf when dubbing sits next to other voice work. Choose PlayHT for multilingual narration and clones. Do not treat those three as document translators.
- Choose LanguageTool after the words exist, to check grammar and style. It is not a substitute for DeepL.

Questions
Which listing is an actual translator?
DeepL. The summary says neural translation for documents and text, with a free translator and DeepL Pro. HeyGen and ElevenLabs Dubbing translate in the sense of a dubbed video. Murf, PlayHT, and the main ElevenLabs listing are voice products. LanguageTool checks grammar.
Is there a localization platform in the index?
No separate listing describes a translation-management platform, a string catalog, or a team workflow for locales. This page does not invent one. DeepL is the document tool. The other cards are media or a grammar checker.
Are any of these offered in mainland China?
No. All seven marks are not confirmed. For speech products that are marked offered, the voice page has MiniMax, 喜马拉雅, and 讯飞星火. Those summaries do not say they translate documents.
What is the difference between the two ElevenLabs listings?
ElevenLabs Dubbing is the studio for translating and re-voicing video. The main ElevenLabs listing is speech synthesis, voice cloning, and dubbing, with a free tier. Use the dubbing listing when the job is a translated video. Use the main listing when you also need synthesis or a clone.
Does LanguageTool translate?
The summary says a multilingual grammar and style checker, with an open-source core and free and Premium plans. It does not say it translates. Use it to read a draft you already have. Use DeepL when the job is the translation itself.
Limits
NavBoth is a directory of public products already in the index. These pages help you choose a listing. The product itself runs on the vendor’s site. Mainland China marks come from public offers reviewed with the seed; they are not a live connection test. No listing on these pages has a paid badge. Names belong to their owners.
Glossary locks, file types, and whether a dub may be published stay on the vendor’s site. This page stays inside the seven summaries already in the index.
